If I were a miracle worker 
This is what I'd do: 
I'd destroy the evil lurker 
And bring on the morning dew. 

If I could make things happen 
This is what I'd cause: 
I'd bring the truth to the open 
And have the hasty pause. 

If I were the voice of God 
This is what I'd say: 
"Spare the child and spoil the rod 
For this is the holy way".
